Research tip: Whenever you research online, go first to the Library website. Enter your OU 4×4 and password. Develop the habit of logging in first thing, whenever you go online. The reason is that many websites, such as Google Scholar, will offer additional full text pdfs when they recognize that you are authorized to connect to them via the University of Oklahoma Libraries. If the site can tell from your IP address that you are on campus, it may show you more resources. But even when you are off-campus, if you first log in to the University Libraries web page, you’ll be able to access additional resources which the library’s subscriptions provide. Searching Google Scholar will turn up better results if you are currently logged in to the library website!
